Realized projects

Essen, Rüttenscheider Straße 149-151

The Hotel Arosa is located in the popular Rüttenscheid district and is known to every Essen citizen. The Rolling Stones have even stayed at this hotel - it is one of the most traditional hotels in Essen. We have modernised and redesigned the entire property. We examine every property that we purchase in relation to the most diverse requirements. The topic of security for the users of our properties is our top priority. For example, although there was no obligation, we built a second escape staircase for the hotel immediately after the purchase of the property to improve the escape route situation. Unlike other investors, we feel obliged to always offer the users of our properties the best in all respects.

Monetary no one appreciates a second escape staircase - but we know that this is worth its weight in gold in case of an emergency. We completely redesigned and rebuilt the entire ground floor and basement. A bowling alley used to be in the basement and a restaurant was operated - we created a new underground car park out of it because the bowling alleys had not been used for 20 years and a restaurant without daylight in the basement is no longer fit for the future. Parking space, on the other hand, is a valuable asset in inner-city real estate and therefore it was only logical to create an underground car park for the building here. We moved the hotel reception on the ground floor to the first floor and converted the newly gained room on the ground floor into an oriental restaurant. The premises that were formerly used by the Thalia bookshop were been transformed into a restaurant by the Vapiano chain. In order to cover our tenants' electricity requirements, we had to build our own transformer station on the premises.
